Your account is frozen immediately and this device is signed out. After a 30-day grace period the account and all associated data are permanently deleted. Changed your mind? Sign in again within 30 days and the deletion is cancelled.
Email support@ovatechat.com from the email address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account" and your username. We verify ownership and start the same deletion process.
Everything tied to the account: profile, devices and keys, sessions, friendships, group memberships, message metadata, push tokens, and any encrypted backup. Message content is end-to-end encrypted and is already removed from our servers after delivery — it exists only on your devices and your contacts' devices. Details in our Privacy Policy (section 7).
